Venue
The venue of SAND 2026 will be at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of Le Havre Normandy University, rue Philippe Lebon, Le Havre. The faculty is located right next to the train station, in the city center. The beach and the heart of the city are very close by tram.

Travel Information
If you haven’t visited the city of Le Havre before, find below details on how to make your way to the city. Usually the best way is to reach Paris, then use train or coach to Le Havre.

Public Transport
Train
The railway station is a 10 minutes walk (one tram station) from the conference venue. There are frequent trains from Saint Lazare railway station in Paris (travel time about 2 hours and 15 minutes).
Coach
The coach station is near the railway station. There are frequent coaches from Paris and Paris Charles de Gaule airport.
Air
It is advised to fly into one of Paris airports. From Charles de Gaulle, coaches are available to Le Havre. From Orly and Charles de Gaulle, it is relatively fast to reach Paris center and then to use a train. To book a car from one of the airports might be advisable. Le Havre is then around two hours and a half (depending on traffic conditions).
Parking
There are several parkings in close vicinity to the conference venue. The university is easy to reach from outside the town, and the traffic is still reasonable in the city center.
Food
There are many fast food restaurants around the university. Saint François district hosts many restaurants, a 20-minute walk away. There are also many restaurants along the beach (15 minutes by tram).
